House In Leesburg VA: An Irresistible Design You’ll Love

Though This House Is Off The Market, You’ll Want The Design For Your Next Home

While this house in Leesburg, VA may be off the market, you can still get a house with a similar, if not the same, design. But first, you’ll probably want to see it for yourself. You can see the open-concept design on the first floor and the finished basement in this post as Abby and Taylor move into their forever home.

Finally, Our Forever Home

“Wow, Abby, can you believe it’s finally happening?!”

Abby looks over from the passenger seat to see Taylor grinning at her in excitement. She smiles back, saying “Not really, it still hasn’t hit me yet that we’re finally moving into our forever home.” Taylor looks back to the road and points, “How about now?” Their new house in Leesburg, VA comes into view:

“It’s still as amazing as I remember it being,” Abby says, eyes shining. Taylor pulls the car into the driveway. “Slow down a bit, I want to enjoy every second,” Abby tells Taylor.

The car drifts to a stop in front of the garage and the couple climbs out of their car. “The movers won’t be here with our stuff for a while, so let’s go take another look at our new home, hon,” Taylor suggests. “That’s a wonderful idea,” Abby agrees. They walk to the front door and go inside.

An Open-Concept Great Room For This House In Leesburg, VA

“Oh yeah, I can’t wait until I can setup the tv on this bad boy,” Taylor says with a smile.

“Really? That’s the exact same thing you said when we walked in here the first time,” Abby points out.

“It’s a guy thing, dear,” he says as he starts walking into the great room. Abby follows him past the stairs and into the great room.

“Boys and their toys,” Abby thinks with a shake of her head as she watches Taylor start remeasuring the area over the fireplace, again. “72 inches, man I still almost can’t believe it! This is gonna be great.”

“Winters here will be awesome with this fireplace too!” Taylor continues excitedly. “Makes it look a little classier, definitely makes it warmer, and I know you’ll love curling up in front of it with some wine and a good book.”

“You know me so well,” Abby says, walking over to hug him. He hugs her back as they stand there quietly, imagining all the memories they’ll make together in this room.

Abby looks to her right through a wide entryway into the kitchen. Her eyes widen as she remembers that it’s now her kitchen.

Eventually, she eases her way out of Taylor’s embrace and glides into the kitchen to look around.

Abby looks to her left through a wide entryway into the kitchen. Her eyes widen as she remembers that it’s now her kitchen.

Eventually, she eases her way out of Taylor’s embrace and glides into the kitchen to look around.

“I am so glad this kitchen came with all the appliances in it,” Abby calls out to Taylor. He walks over to join her in the kitchen, saying “Me too. It’s easier on us and the movers, plus new is cool.” Abby laughs under her breath at his intentionally poor rhyming of ‘new’ and ‘cool’.

“This kitchen island is ideal for helping prepare food on or putting finger food on for when we have guests over,” Abby begins, voice rising in excitement. “The granite countertops are beautiful, the white cabinets are pristine, and the recessed lighting gives even coverage oh it’s practically perfect!” she gushes.

Now it’s Taylor’s turn to laugh under his breath. “I love it when she gets excited like this, so happy and full of energy,” he thinks, feeling his heart warm. “Well dear, if you ever get bored of it we’ll have the builder come in and remodel our home,” he says.

“Really?! That’s great, thank you!” she says as she comes to give him a tight hug.

She follows it up by saying “Let’s go look at the finished basement, or should I say your man cave,” she teases.

“You said it, can’t take it back now so let’s go look at my new man cave!” Taylor says, only half-joking.

The Finished Basement (aka Potential Man Cave)

“There’s so much room down here we could play football during commercial breaks!” Taylor raves:

“Please, don’t,” Abby says firmly. “Just kidding, just kidding, sorta,” Taylor responds, surrendering with his hands in the air. “We could definitely toss around a little foam one though, especially when the kiddos come to visit.”

“What else would you put down here, Taylor?” Abby asks curiously, changing the subject. “Foosball table over there, pool table here with ping-pong top there, and a bar oh there’s already one down here!” Taylor bursts excitedly. “And of course a huge tv with couches and chairs. Plus I’d leave room for you to put a few things down here too,” he says with a wink.

*DING-DING* Abby pulls out her phone. “Oh wow, the movers are already here! Did time go that quicky or are they just that good?” Taylor shrugs, saying “Either way, it’s time for us to start officially moving into our new forever house in Leesburg, VA.”
